Step 1
Download the Binfer Desktop App on the computer you’d like to send/receive files from and create an account.
TIP: For a more seamless experience, choose a device that can remain online.
Step 2
In the app under “ACTION”, select Web Link to share files or “Web Drop” to receive files. Name your transfer and write a short note to your recipient if desired.
Step 3
To send files, drag and drop your files or an entire folder into the “Items” box. Set advanced options at the bottom as needed.
To receive files, simply review and set the advanced options as needed.
Tip: For sending or recieving files over 2GB, we recommend disabling web pickup.
Step 4
Click the “⨁” icon in the upper left corner. Copy the link that appears to your clipboard and paste it in a message to your desired party.
NOTE: This link will allow non-Binfer users to download files directly from or upload files directly to your computer.

Click the provided link to securely view any messages from the sender and next steps on how to upload or download files.
NOTE: Prior to viewing, you may need to input a password if the sender chose to password protect the transfer.
Step 2
For larger files over 2GB, launch the Binfer portable app on your computer. For files under 2GB, simply use the left pane to download the specific files or drag and drop the files to be sent.
Step 3
If using the Binfer portable app, type in the transfer code provided on the web page.
When receiving files, the download will automatically start once the app is launched.
To send files, drag and drop the files or folders in the teal box.Click "ADD" to select files from your computer's directory.
Step 4
Reference the progress bar to view the status of each transfer. When receiving files, click "View Files" for a quick access to the files being downloaded. Once complete, exit out of the Binfer portable app.
NOTE: The app and any reports will disappear completely from your computer once the app is closed.
